Personal Work / B3 poster
In Japanese, there is a word "々" that means to repeat the previous character, and "々" is not a character but an auxiliary symbol, as in "hibi" (every day). It is the same symbol as punctuation marks (such as "," and ".").  It is called "noma" or "noma mark" because it looks like a combination of the katakana characters "no" and "ma." This is an attempt to visually visualize the compound words with "々.  Saki-zaki(few years ago), Man-man(laden), Ten-ten(Moving around), Fuka-buka(deeply), Shima-jima(islands)
